Gelatin is made from the clean skin of pigs coming from controlled organic livestock farms.
The rinds are collected from organic pig farms throughout Germany and several neighboring countries and then go to central processing in a controlled and specially certified gelatin production facility.

Gelatin is a thickening agent. It can be used in cooking and baking to thicken watery mixtures such as creams and sauces, while, depending on the amount used, it can also give us more ''stable'' mixtures, such as fruit jellies.

The recipe is as follows:

For a one-month treatment , 150 g of edible gelatin is required.

Method of preparation:

  1. Add 5 g (2 level teaspoons) gelatin powder to 70 ml of cold water (1/3 of a cup).
  2. Leave the gelatin for 10 minutes to absorb the water and swell.
  3. Slowly add 140 ml (the remaining 2/3 of the cup) of hot water, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Continue stirring until the powder is completely dissolved. and let it stand until morning in the refrigerator. The gelatin will swell and turn into a jelly overnight.
  4. In the morning, drink the mixture on an empty stomach or add it to juice or mix with yogurt. For better taste, add honey.



There are many testimonials from people who complained of pain in their joints, back, legs, spine, neck, etc. and after a week of using gelatin, they already saw a big difference.

The duration of treatment is one month. Repeat again in 6 months. This is a way to restore the "lubrication" of the joints.


Recipe for Gelatin powder/Collagen with fruit juice

Servings: 4
Cooking: 5 minutes
Standby time: 3 hours

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fruit juice of your choice
  • 4 tbsp. gelatin powder
  • 1 cup fresh fruit (optional)


Friday

  • Heat 3 cups of juice until (almost) boiling.
  • In a bowl, combine the remaining 1 cold cup of juice with the gelatin powder and mix well.
  • Add the hot juice to the gelatin powder and mix well again.
  • Pour it into a saucepan and add the fresh fruit.
  • Place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, or until the gelatin mixture is firm.



Why is gelatin so beneficial for joints?

Gelatin – a product of animal origin, obtained as a result of processing the connective tissue of large horned animals – tendons, bones, cartilage, collagen is actually in its purest form. It has a positive effect on the condition of internal fibers and small vessels.

It has two amino acids: proline and hidrosiprolin (hydroxyproline), which have a positive impact on the recovery of connective tissue. Gelatin is able to increase the growth and extension of connective tissue, which is very important in diseased joints.

*Proline (abbreviated Pro or P) is an α-amino acid. It is one of the proteinogenic amino acids and is encoded in DNA by the codons CCU, CCC, CCA, and CCG. The human body can synthesize proline from other compounds, so it is not a dietary essential amino acid. It is the only protein amino acid that incorporates a secondary amine into its molecule, that is, the amino nitrogen is joined to two alkyl groups (R1-N(H)-R2).

*Hydroxyproline is an amino acid found in collagen. The excretion of hydroxyproline in the urine is a useful indicator of collagen metabolism (degradation). It reflects the rate of bone breakdown and is therefore a good test for monitoring the status of Paget's disease.
