White Tea
White tea is the purest and least processed of all teas. It has very little caffeine and gives us a drink with a light color and flavor. White tea also contains healthy antioxidants ideal for the skin and complexion.
Green tea
Green tea is the most popular type of tea, mainly because it is the beverage of choice in Asia. Some types of green tea are infused with flower petals or blended with fruit to create delicious flavors. This tea has only 5-10% of the caffeine found in a cup of coffee. Green tea contains antioxidants. It will help maintain cholesterol levels that are already within normal limits, is good for your skin and teeth, and can be used as part of your diet to maintain healthy blood sugar levels.
Oolong tea
Oolong tea, also known as wu long tea, gives us a delicious aroma and sweet taste. It is lightly fermented, which yields about 15% of the caffeine contained in a cup of coffee. Most people often recognize oolong tea as the Chinese tea served in Chinese restaurants. Oolong tea can be a healthy part of your weight loss plan.
Black Tea
Black tea is the tea most people know since they probably grew up steeping black tea bags in their cups. This category also includes “European” tea, creating the misconception even today that it is produced in Europe and not in the Far East, which is correct. Black tea is fully fermented, so it has about 20% of the caffeine contained in a cup of coffee. Black tea helps maintain normal cholesterol levels, as well as contributing to maintaining cardiovascular function and a healthy circulatory system.
