Viola, also known as pansy, heart-sease, Johnny jump-ups, is a genus of plants to which the plant Viola tricolor belongs, which has medicinal properties and belongs to the Violaceae family.

Homer mentions that the Athenians used them to "mitigate anger". In the past, pansies were used in love potions, hence their English name "heartsease". The name comes from the French "pansee", which means "I think", and this is because in the past in France when a man offered a pansy to a woman it meant that he was thinking a lot about her. The pansy has been known since ancient times, according to one view, the ancient Greeks and Romans knew the wild pansy under the name "phlox". It has been used in medicine since the 16th century in cases of skin diseases. In folk medicine, it was used for epilepsy, asthma, skin diseases and eczema (especially in children) and was believed to control nighttime urination in children

as an infusion: one teaspoon of dried herb in a cup of boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day
