Milk Thistle Tincture 50ml
Milk thistle (Silybum marianum), Milk thistle
Other Names: Silivo, Koufagatho
Basic Properties: lactogenic, liver cell regenerator, cholestatic, emollient, antidepressant, antioxidant
Uses: for liver diseases, liver burdened by toxins, fatty infiltration, possibly helping with cirrhosis of the liver (liver) due to alcohol abuse or hepatitis, liver tonic and protector from the effects of drugs, increases milk flow and is completely safe for breastfeeding mothers to use, stimulates bile secretion and is indicated for gallbladder problems, cholelithiasis.
How is it used:
as an infusion: half a teaspoon of dry seeds (mainly) or a dried herb in a cup of boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day
The seeds can be eaten.
Tincture: 1-2 ml of milk thistle tincture three times a day.
(1 ml of tincture = approximately 30 drops)
Special precautions:
It has not shown any side effects and can therefore be used by most people and pregnant women. It may have a mild, transient laxative effect.
