POWDERED GELATIN 150g
Organic gelatin of animal origin in powder.
Natural collagen!

Gelatin is a form of hydrolyzed collagen , meaning it is essentially a part of collagen that has been broken down. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and is a major component of connective tissue, making up about a quarter of our total body mass. Collagen and gelatin are similar in their benefits because they contain the same amino acids. However, their uses are slightly different, and some people digest gelatin a little easier.

The gelatin you will find in our store is made from the clean skin of pigs that come from controlled organic livestock farms in Germany.

GELATIN AS A VALUABLE NUTRITION SUPPLEMENT

Gelatin is an extremely useful natural product for improving health, especially in terms of joint pain , mobility and the risk of joint wear and tear, but not only:

Here's more about some of the main benefits of gelatin:

  • Protects joints, reduces pain & prevents the development of osteoporosis & osteoarthritis
Gelatin and collagen help to inhibit chronic inflammatory reactions, which reduces pain and stops progressive diseases that lead to damage to joint function, such as degenerative joint disease. It prevents the development of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis and supports the elasticity and strength of tendons and ligaments.
  • Maintains strong bones
Gelatin is rich in nutrients such as calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, silicon, and sulfur, which help build bones and prevent fractures or loss of density. These nutrients are also great for bone healing. Researchers now believe that gelatin (collagen hydrolysate) may act as a safe, therapeutic agent for the treatment of osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, even when used long-term in chronic disorders.
  • Improves gut health and digestion
Similar to collagen, gelatin is beneficial for preventing intestinal damage and improving the lining of the digestive tract, thus preventing permeability and leaky gut syndrome.
  • Helps improve sleep quality
Some studies have shown that gelatin helps people who constantly have trouble sleeping, can't fall asleep, or who generally have unsatisfactory sleep, if they take three grams before bed.
  • It lifts your mood and improves cognitive abilities
The amino acid glycine is considered an "inhibitory neurotransmitter," which means it acts similarly to certain anxiolytic or antidepressant medications, only without the unwanted complications and side effects.
  • Improves skin, hair & nail health
Collagen is considered a primary building block for the skin and is partly what gives us a youthful, healthy appearance. Gelatin is important for the skin cell renewal process and may also help prevent damage from UV rays, thus protecting you from free radical damage, wrinkles and possibly even certain types of cancer. It also leads to improved growth and structure of hair and nails.
  • Helps maintain heart health
One of the most beneficial roles that gelatin plays in the body is neutralizing chemical compounds that we obtain from eating meat, such as methionine.

There are many testimonials from people who complained of joint pain, back pain, leg pain, spine pain, neck pain, etc. and after a week of using gelatin, they already saw a big difference . Fortunately, there are also several studies that have found that supplementing with collagen or gelatin can reduce joint pain , improve mobility, and reduce the risk of joint wear and tear over time. Not only that, but collagen could also provide relief to those suffering from rheumatoid arthritis , which is a type of autoimmune disorder characterized by pain and swelling in the joints (see indicative literature).

The "magic recipe" (according to testimonies of people who have used it) that will relieve back, joint and leg pain in just 7 days is the following:

For a one-month treatment, 150 g of edible gelatin is required.

Method of preparation:

  • Add 5 g ( 2 level teaspoons) of gelatin powder to 70 ml of cold water or juice of your choice (1/3 of a cup). Fruit juice will make the jelly palatable and pleasant. You can use any juice you like, but avoid pineapple juice. It has an enzyme that will prevent it from setting.
  • Leave the gelatin for 10 minutes to absorb the water and swell.
  • Slowly add 140 ml (the remaining 2/3 cup) of warm water, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Continue stirring until the powder is completely dissolved and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight. The gelatin will swell and turn into a gel overnight.
  • In the morning, eat the jelly on an empty stomach or add it to juice or mix it with yogurt. For a better taste, add honey or a natural sweetener.

With the above proportions you can prepare one week's doses, store them in bowls in the refrigerator and take one out every morning and eat. The duration of a complete therapeutic application is one month . Repeat again in 6 months . This is a way to restore the "lubrication" of the joints.

Do we really need to supplement our diet with gelatin?

For most people, the answer is yes. The traditional diets of our ancestors typically included higher amounts of gelatin, as a whole-animal approach was popular.

Today, the average person is low in gelatin (and other animal compounds like collagen), as many edible animal parts are often discarded. It's not chicken breasts or filet mignon that provide gelatin naturally - it's the "gelatinous" parts of animals that are not typically consumed these days, including the animal's skin, bone marrow, and tendons.

While we can produce some of the amino acids ourselves, we may need more as we age and if we have high levels of inflammation, impaired digestion, or weak joints.

Is it safe to eat gelatin?
Gelatin is usually very well tolerated, even by those with digestive concerns. It's best to start with a small amount each day, such as half a serving, and gradually increase your intake to make sure you can tolerate it well.
