How is it used:
Prepared as a decoction: Pour half a teaspoon of chopped root into a cup of water and boil for 5 minutes. Drink it hot 20 minutes before each meal.
Special precautions:
Gentian should not be used by people suffering from excessive gastric acid secretion, heartburn, peptic ulcer or gastritis.
