ORGANIC GREEK GIANT BEANS 500gr PRESPA

Giant beans from a producer located in Mikrolimni, Prespa, are white in color and stand out from other beans from other regions and countries in their shape, size, brightness of the product and of course in their quality. They are thin-skinned - easy to boil (50 minutes boiling and 60 minutes soaking) with a special flavor due to the microclimate and soil composition of the Prespa region. They are cooked in soup (fasolada) or piaz.

The seed is of local origin and the cultivation is completely traditional. They have a high nutritional value, completely in harmony with the philosophy of a healthy Mediterranean diet. They contain many nutrients and specifically offer our body proteins of good biological value without the presence of saturated fats.
They also contain starch, B vitamins, magnesium, potassium and other minerals. Their fiber content helps improve intestinal motility and helps reduce cholesterol, as part of it is carried away for elimination in the intestine.
