How is it used:
Seeds as a decoction: simmer half a teaspoon of dried seeds in one and a half cups of water for 15-20 minutes. Drink 3 times a day. You can also grind them in a blender to break them up and then boil them for 5-10 minutes.
The seeds can also be eaten (if chewed well or ground in a blender)
Tincture: 1-2 ml of milk thistle tincture three times a day.

It has not shown any side effects and can therefore be used by most people and pregnant women. It may have a mild, transient laxative effect.
