Basic Properties: Antibacterial, antipyretic, immune stimulant, detoxifier, enhances digestion, regulates blood pressure, stimulates the nervous system, analgesic

Uses: for urinary tract, gastrointestinal, respiratory infections, external infections, for stomach gas, for high cholesterol and blood pressure, for nervous disorders, insomnia, anxiety


How is it used:
as an infusion: 1 teaspoon of leaves in 1 cup of boiled water for 10 minutes. Strain and drink 3 times a day.
It is also frequently used in cooking for its wonderful lemony aroma (especially in Thai cuisine).

Special precautions:
Lemongrass is generally considered safe to use. It is best avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding because there is no evidence of its safety in these situations.
