Its origin is from the western Mediterranean basin and has been cultivated for 4,000 years as a therapeutic and aromatic herb.
Nowadays it is cultivated all over the world.

Basic Properties: Diaphoretic, digestive, antibacterial, lactating, aromatic

Therapeutic use: Helps with good digestion, relieves gas in the stomach and intestines, helps with snoring, acts as a diaphoretic
Culinary use: Due to its slightly sugary taste, anise is an ingredient in confectionery and baking. A key ingredient in ouzo and flavored raki and tsipouro. It is suitable for syrups, fish, seafood and white meats and in sauces instead of dill. Known for its digestive action.

How is it used:
as an infusion: half to a teaspoon of crushed seeds in a cup of boiling water for 10-15 minutes. Drink up to 3 times a day

Special precautions:

We do not exceed the recommended dosages. In case of overdose or prolonged use, it has been shown to cause numbness in the fingertips and tongue.
Avoid using the plant during pregnancy.
