Spices

Spice is the dried part of a plant that contains aromatic, spicy and caustic substances. It is also known by the names seasoning and aromatic. Many of the spices also have antioxidant-therapeutic properties and certainly replace the various preservatives that in many cases harm human health. The uses of spices are many. In cooking, it is an essential ingredient in almost every recipe. The essential oils extracted from spices are used in perfumery, in the manufacture of soaps, cosmetics and many others. The plants from which spices come are wild or cultivated. Spices must be kept in dry and dark places without humidity so that their quality is good.
