Dried celery powder is a good alternative to use in food. We can have it in our cupboard and use it at any time, the hydration process is not necessary if we boil it. It is used to flavor broths, oil, sauces and fish . It gives a rich flavor, color and aroma.
Celery is a herb with strong antioxidant activity as it is a good source of vitamin C and a class of flavonoids called coumarins. These flavonoids (to which its characteristic aroma is largely attributed) are associated with strong activity against dangerous free radicals, acting protectively against the appearance of various forms of cancer.
