How is it used?
Therapeutically, we usually use the ripe seeds as an infusion: Pour half a teaspoon of freshly crushed celery seeds into a
cup of boiled water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.
In cooking, we use fresh celery leaves, dried leaves in powder, or ground seeds that have retained their aroma.
It can be used by those who avoid salt in their food because it contains potassium nitrate.
Special precautions
Celery is generally considered safe for use in culinary quantities and possibly safe in therapeutic doses.
There are indications to avoid Celery in therapeutic doses during pregnancy.
Do not use Celery in therapeutic doses if you have kidney problems, as it can cause inflammation.
