Basic Properties: diaphoretic, expectorant, antitussive, stomachic, antibacterial
Uses: It is a special remedy for irritating coughs, especially in children, for severe runny nose, bronchitis or emphysema, asthma or bronchial asthma.
How is it used:
the root as an infusion: pour 1/2 tsp. chopped root into a cup of cold water. Leave it for 8-10 hours. Then heat it and drink it very hot 2-3 times a day.
Tincture: 1-2 ml tincture three times a day
Special precautions:
Inulin, which is found in the root of the herb, is widely distributed in fruits, vegetables, and plants. It is classified as a food and is considered safe to eat.
Do not use by people with sensitivity to inulin.
Avoid in cases of pregnancy or diabetes mellitus
