Uses: Premenstrual syndrome, Female infertility, Fibrocystic breast disease, Acne, Amenorrhea or Dysmenorrhea, menopausal changes.
How is it used:
as an infusion: 1/2 teaspoon of crushed berries in a cup of boiled water for 15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.
Long periods of use of lutein are usually needed. Women experiencing infertility with amenorrhea can use lutein for 12-18 months unless pregnancy occurs during treatment.
Tincture: 1-2 ml of willow tincture three times a day.
Special precautions:
Side effects may include stomach upset and mild skin irritation with itching. Wickerweed is not recommended during pregnancy and should not be combined with hormone therapy (e.g. estrogen, progesterone).
