In traditional herbal medicine, it is used to enhance the proper functioning of the urinary system and to treat prostate problems.
Other parts of the plant have been used for eye washes to help improve vision, for gastrointestinal problems, for colds, for respiratory problems, gynecological, and dermatological purposes.

How is it used:
Simmer 1-2 dried plane fruits (plane apples) in a cup of water for seven to ten minutes. Let cool for another ten minutes, strain and drink.
