Scorpionweed (Selaginella lepidophylla), Doradilla, Rose of Jeriho

It grows in desert areas, mainly in Central and South America.
This plant has the ability to go into hibernation by rolling its foliage into a kind of ball, in a state of dehydration.
When placed in a little water, the foliage rehydrates and the plant comes back to life and opens its foliage again.
For this property, this plant is also called the Resurrection plant.

Basic Properties: Diuretic, antimicrobial, antilithic, liver tonic

Uses: for kidney and gall stones, for urinary tract infections, cystitis, stomach inflammation, liver problems

How is it used:
the leaves as a decoction: Simmer a teaspoon of dried Scorpion Grass for 5-10 minutes in a cup of water. Drink up to 2-3 times a day.
for urinary problems it combines well with Horsetail (Polycomb)
