Coconut oil is extracted from the kernel or flesh of the mature coconut of the coconut palm.

Coconut oil is often referred to as "the healthiest oil on earth." Essential proteins and capric and lauric acids fight wrinkles, tone and tighten the skin, while nourishing healthy hair. Being nature's richest source of MCFAs (medium-chain fatty acids), coconut oil is easily absorbed by the body, strengthening the connective tissues of your skin and therefore, also helping to maintain a healthy scalp by strengthening hair damaged by sun, heat and chemical damage.
For a special scalp and hair treatment, massage a tablespoon of Coconut oil into your hair and then wrap it in a warm towel and shower cap for 15 minutes. Wash with a mild shampoo and rinse with cool water.
