Uses:
Very useful herb for skin diseases especially in children such as childhood eczema , for psoriasis , for Cough and Bronchitis , for Whooping Cough . There is evidence (in animals) that it has anti-cancer effects . Some research shows that red clover can improve the symptoms of prostate hyperplasia , such as reducing bedwetting and improving the quality of life of patients.
This herb is particularly beneficial for women. The isoflavones in red clover appear to be able to slow bone loss and even boost bone density in women before and during menopause.
How is it used:
The flowers as an infusion: Add one to one and a half teaspoons of dried red clover flowers to a cup of boiled water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.
A recipe for external use for dermatitis is below. It will help relieve itching and improve the appearance of the skin.
Instructions:
- In a jar, put about two teaspoons of dried sage, the same amount of dried chamomile, and four teaspoons of dried red clover.
- Cover all the herbs with olive oil until they are covered and close the jar.
- Place the jar in a pot of boiling water, enough to cover it about halfway.
- Let it cool and repeat the process.
- Strain the herbs and put the oil in a jar.
- You can use it every morning and every night.
