Vanilla Fructus Madagascar (Vanillae fructus, Vanilla Beans)

Vanilla comes from the Vanilla planifolia plant, which is a climbing Orchid that grows around the trunk of another tree or with some other type of support. It originates from Mexico and is currently cultivated mainly in Madagascar, Reunion, Mexico and the Comoros Islands.

Properties: sweet aromatic, calming, digestive

Culinary use : It is a basic ingredient in pastries, desserts, pudding and chocolate. Vanilla extract is used to flavor liqueurs, syrups, ice creams and tobacco.
* The main component of vanilla aroma, vanillin, is also produced synthetically to be more economical, but due to the absence of many other ingredients, it cannot compete with real vanilla.
