It is the new trend in natural sweeteners. Agave nectar or syrup
comes from the agave which is nothing more than the cactus-like plant from
which we also take the tequila.

Agave nectar is sweeter than honey but thanks to its low glycemic index
of the index, does not cause sudden fluctuations in blood sugar levels.
