EPILOBIUM plant

Epilobium (Epilobium angustifolium), Willow herb
It comes from N. Africa, Europe and E. Asia. Its leaves are lanceolate with wavy edges. It produces a small flower in pink or white with four petals that comes out in the summer months.

Key Properties: antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant.

Uses: in prostate hyperplasia, cystitis and nephritis, urinary tract infections, mucous colitis and irritable bowel syndrome, diarrhea, urinary incontinence in men and women.

How is it used:
as an infusion: one teaspoon of dried herb in a cup of boiling water for 10 minutes. Drink 2-3 times a day

No side effects or contraindications have been observed, but it is best to avoid it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
