HEATHER HONEY (REIKI) GREEK ORGANIC 450gr.

The spiny heather (Erica manipulliflora) is a shrub with purple flowers that blooms in autumn. Also known as "susoura" or "chamoreiko", it is collected from early October in the ravines and verdant slopes of southern Pindos, as well as in the Valtos region of Aitoloakarnania, at an altitude ranging from 600-800m.
Heather honey has a copper color, an intense aroma and a fruity taste. It crystallizes within 2-3 months. It has antioxidant properties and rich nutritional value, due to its high protein content (the highest compared to other varieties of honey), minerals, amino acids, enzymes and B vitamins.

It all started in 2007, when a swarm of bees chose the tree in our yard as their permanent home. Since then, a lot has changed on our small family farm. The dominant position is occupied by our organic apiary, which is jointly managed by two brothers: Christoforos, a professional farmer, and Dimitris, a music composer.

Bee-thoven = harmony and respect!

Certified organic beekeeping

We produce certified beekeeping products by independent authorities, respecting the bee and the environment, away from industrial or other pollutants, in areas with native wild vegetation. The organic practices followed are certified through the controls of the certification company, based on the regulations of Organic Agriculture, ensuring the purity of the collection of organic honey.
