How to use/Dosage

The powder dissolves in water, juice, or your yogurt.
Use Schisandra berries for their adaptogenic properties at a dosage of 1.5 – 6 g per day (half a teaspoon to 1 tablespoon).
Ideally, you should let the berries soak overnight, squeeze them in the morning and simmer them in new water for about 20 minutes so that they extract their unique elements into the water and you have a very beneficial tea.

Alternatively, grind the berries into a fine powder (make a week's supply) and add it to fruit juices, smoothies, or your breakfast.

Excessively high doses can lead to symptoms of gastric discomfort, such as heartburn. For this reason, Schisandra may not be suitable for people with conditions such as ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, or hyperchlorhydria (high stomach acid). Schisandra may also cause decreased appetite.
Schisandra may not be suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Discuss its use with your doctor before starting to take it.
