We use the flowering tops of the plant.

Basic Properties: Cardiotonic, diuretic, hypertensive, peripheral vasoconstrictor, astringent

Uses: For cases of heart weakness, for low blood pressure (hypotension), for fluid retention due to a weak heart, for excessive menstrual flow.

How is it used:
The flowers as an infusion: half to a teaspoon of dried Asparagus flowers in a cup of boiled water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.

Special precautions:
Do not use if you have hypertension or during pregnancy.
