GREEK BLACK LENTILS ORGANIC 300gr

With special effort in the mountainous areas of Sagmatas, Boeotia, Greek nature generously offers the precious black lentils in very limited quantities.

Black lentils are rich in protein and fiber , and just half a cup of cooked black lentils contains about 12 grams of protein and 9 grams of fiber, a powerful combination that can keep us full and energized for much longer than other foods.

Black lentils are extremely delicious, they are characterized as the caviar of lentils , and one of their properties is that they are more easily digested than classic lentils.

They do not need to be soaked overnight . We wash them and put them in double the amount of water without salt to boil over low heat for 20-30 minutes depending on how we like them.

We boil them, add oil and salt and eat them. We can also add small pieces of tomato, parsley and olives or mix them with other salads such as a green salad. We can use them as a garnish.
