Ginseng (Panax Ginseng), Ginseng

We use the root of the plant from plants that are 6 years old and older. Ginseng has been known since ancient times for its unique properties.
Used in Chinese medicine for over 2,000 years, Ginseng is used in the East mainly by older people to improve their physical and mental vitality.
Basic Properties: Improves physical endurance, mental performance, antidepressant, antiviral (against various viruses), adaptogenic herb, improves blood sugar levels, increases reduced blood pressure to normal levels.
Uses: for Mental and Physical Vitality, for Erectile Dysfunction, for Diabetes II, for Immune Stimulation, for Male Infertility, in states of exhaustion or recovery after illness, for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome,
How is it used:
We use Ginseng root at a dosage of 1-3 g of Ginseng root per day:
-as a decoction : Boil chopped root in a cup of water for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day.
-chew it : put small pieces of the root in our mouth and let it slowly soften with saliva and chew it.
In recommended amounts, ginseng is generally safe.
In rare cases, it may cause hyperactivity or insomnia. The likelihood increases if caffeine is consumed at the same time.
People with hypertension should use ginseng with caution as it can cause an increase in blood pressure.
Long-term use may cause menstrual irregularities and breast tenderness in some women.
Ginseng is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
