Key Properties: appears to mimic the action of estrogen, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory

Uses: for treating gynecological problems & menopause, for menstrual cramps, for treating arthritis, fatigue and snake bites. and high blood pressure, for forehead headaches, neuralgia, heartburn, toothache and gum pain

How is it used:
the root as a decoction: simmer 1/2-1 tsp for 10-15'

Special precautions:
It is not recommended for adolescents, pregnant or breastfeeding women due to its hormonal action.
