Basic Properties: Antispasmodic, cholagogue, analgesic, laxative, diuretic
Uses: for the treatment of gallbladder infections, for gallstones, for symptoms of Dyspepsia, Psoriasis
How is it used:
The aerial parts of the plant as an infusion: 1 teaspoon of dried Celandine in a cup of water for 5-10 minutes. Drink up to 2 times a day.
Dried celandine root as a decoction: Add 1/2 teaspoon of dried root to 1 cup of water, boil, then reduce and leave for 10 minutes. Drink 2 times a day.
Special precautions:
Do not exceed the above dose because there is a risk of hepatotoxicity.
Celandine should be avoided during pregnancy and in children under 12 years of age.
Celery should be used with caution and under the supervision of a specialist.
