Bitter Wood, (Quassia Bark), Bitter Wood
Other Names:Jamaican Quassia, Amargo

Basic indications
Bitterwood, commonly known as Quassia, is primarily used to lower blood sugar, cleanse the blood, and rid the body of worms and parasites. Additionally, research has shown that this tree bark strengthens the digestive system and rejuvenates the organs.

Antibacterial, antiparasitic, anthelmintic (intestinal worms)

The active ingredient in Bitter Wood increases the secretion of stomach acids and bile secretions, which enhances the body's natural digestive effects and attacks bacteria, parasites, worms and fungi. This leads to a healthy gut and helps relieve gastritis.

Supports healthy blood sugar levels

Another property of Bitter Gourd is its ability to break down glucose. This reduces the amount of insulin the body produces and extends the lifespan of the pancreas. In addition, the efficient breakdown of glucose provides more fuel to the body and helps burn stored fat.

Blood purification

The blood cleansing effects of Bitter Gourd enhance the breakdown of bad cholesterol. This leads to greater blood viscosity and elasticity of blood vessels. The end result of this process is a reduction in insulin resistance, allowing the body to break down sugar and convert carbohydrates and glucose into energy.

How to prepare it (preparation is done once a week):

1. Boil 30g of Bitterwood bark in 3.7 liters of water for 15 minutes. (For added flavor, add 2-3 cinnamon sticks.)

2. Turn off the heat, and let the stew sit for one hour.

3. Strain, store in a bottle and refrigerate for later use. Consume hot or cold.

Dosage:
Drink 1-2 cups daily (morning and afternoon)

Special precautions:

Do not exceed the recommended amount. If you notice irritation of the mouth of the stomach or digestive tract, or even nausea or vomiting, discontinue use.
