The rose R. damascena as the king of flowers is the symbol of love, purity, faith and beauty since ancient times. The flowers are known for their delicate, sweet ethereal aroma. They are also known as the “rose of Isfahan”.

The pharmacological properties of rose R. damascena has anti-HIV, antibacterial, antioxidant, antitussive, hypnotic, antidiabetic and relaxing effects. R. damascena has been traditionally used to treat abdominal and chest pain, strengthen the heart, menstrual bleeding, digestive problems and constipation.

How to use rose petals

Add them to your salads or sprinkle them on good red meat at the end of cooking, in your compotes, jams, teas and infusions, to give them a floral note of sensuality. For the latter, let some rose petals soak for 5 to 7 minutes in very hot water and discover the delicate aroma of these flowers.
