Sandalwood (sandalwood amyris), Red Saunder
It is commonly known as Amyris balsamifera and belongs to the Santalaceae family.
It is an evergreen tree that reaches a height of 9m with hard leaves and small red flowers.

It is often used for nervousness, eczema, urinary tract infections, anxiety, and tension.
Due to its woody aroma, it is used in aromatherapy and soap making, and due to its antimicrobial action, in the cosmetic industry, enhancing other aromas.

Basic properties: genitourinary antiseptic, diuretic, antidepressant, tonic, antispasmodic, astringent

Uses: for urogenital infections: gonorrhea, cystitis, enterobacteriosis
