(*but it may contain traces in its packaging so it is not recommended in cases of celiac disease)

Preparation
Rinse 1 cup of raw buckwheat and place it in a pot with 2 cups of water. Boil over low heat until the buckwheat becomes fluffy and absorbs all the water, about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally with a wooden spoon. As it boils, it will absorb its liquids and you can optionally add fresh herbs.
